Rubbish creates beautiful, litter-free communities where people love to live. Their custom app empowers the public to report litter in their neighborhoods, and through machine learning, the app maps where trash is located and uses community engagement and partnerships to clean it up, creating healthier neighborhoods.
Surcreative worked closely with the client to develop and design Rubbish’s website as well as defining the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) of the app, making it easy for the public to use the app on-the-go to beautify their neighborhoods!
To help establish Rubbish’s visual identity, surcreative also designed marketing materials--like street signs, stickers, posters--as well as custom stationery to ensure that Rubbish’s branding is consistent, recognizable and impactful across every medium--from outdoor signs to business cards. On a regular basis, surcreative helps Rubbish with custom designs and graphics for their email marketing, newsletters and social media. With the help of surcreative, Rubbish now has a strong public-facing identity, which helped the company launch a successful pilot test in San Francisco and engage users across every platform, making the goal of litter-free neighborhoods a closer reality.
